Support Engineer

We're on the look-out for a new Support Champion (Support Engineer) to join the Prop Data team. This role will require the employee to:

  • Assist with all client support queries
  • Monitor our various support platforms
  • Help support the core company product as a whole
  • Take charge of all technical support issues
  • Mailbox setup 

Required Skills:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a support/help centre role
  • Experience with DNS, Mail management applications and various MS and Google applications
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
  • Must be comfortable in a Linux hosting environment
  • Must be well spoken and have excellent written communication skills (English)
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be persistent, attentive and proactive

Advantageous Skills:

  • Knowledge of ITIL -  Services
  • Previous experience working within the real estate industry
  • Fluency in isiZulu and/or Afrikaans
  • A+, N+ or other introductory IT related course/certificate
