Homepage

Property Search

From the Property Search primary navigation tab, users will be able to filter your property search results and view On Show, Residential For Sale, Residential To Let and Vacant Land listings. Please note: Commercial For Sale, Commercial To Let and New Development navigation links are included with a package add-on purchase.

Custom-Designed Header

Even though the website is template-based and has fixed page layouts and facilities, the top header and colour scheme will be custom-designed to reflect your corporate identity, give the website a unique look and feel, and make you stand out from your competitors.

Quick Search

A property quick-search facility is built into the website header to enable users to search for a property from any page on the website. The predictive text search facility enables users to search your database of property listings by inputting an area, suburb, property type or web reference number keyword and selecting the most relevant option. Alternatively, the users can specify their search criteria in the advanced search drop down menus.

Homepage

The homepage will be the most visited page on your website and will be the starting point for most user's web experience. This page has been designed to give users an overview of the main sections of the website and encourage them to explore further. It includes a brief company profile, two (2) featured properties, a summary of your latest news articles and button ads linking to the On Show, Property Email Alerts and List Your Property sections.

Social Media Links

Users will also be able to link to your Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or YouTube pages and keep connected with your company on these social sites.

Footer

To build trust and credibility with users the footer of the website includes the logo and link to the website of any industry organization your company is a member of. Branch contact numbers will be published for easy referencing and text navigation links are provided to assist the search engine bots when they crawl your website.

Search Results

My Favourites

My Favourites is a facility that enables users to save their favourite properties to a short-list. The users can then either print, email, bookmark or share their favourite properties. Without signing in, the system will recognize the users every time they visit the website and make their short-list available to them. The users also have the ability to remove properties from My Favourites.

Search Results Tools

Users can print, email to a friend, or even bookmark and share the search results with friends on social sites such as Facebook. Users can also subscribe to the RSS feed and, using a RSS Reader, monitor all new listings matching their search criteria.

Summaries

Based on selected search criteria, the users will be presented with a summary of properties in the search results. The summary listings are displayed in a clear, easy-to-view layout and can be sorted by several different criteria in an ascending or descending order. Users can view a gallery of images, add the property to their favourites or view the property details. They can also view a map showing the listing in relation to the other results form their search.

Mapped Results

All search results can be mapped on a Google Street Map facility. Users are able to zoom in and out, navigate around, switch from a street map to a satellite map and even click on a pin-point for more property information. The map will also enable the users to distinguish between standard, on show and My Favourite listings.

Details

Property Tools

Users can download a PDF brochure, view floor plans, take a virtual tour or video tour or map the property.

Notes

Jot down and save personal notes on the property. These can be viewed when returning to the website and will also be displayed on print, brochure and email versions.

Contact the Agent

The user can either contact the listing agent/s directly or complete the "Make an Appointment To View" form. All electronic enquiries are logged in the back-end Enquiry Management System and sent to the listing agent via email and SMS.

On Show

An "On Show" icon, along with the show house date, time and directions are also displayed to promote any upcoming show days. By entering the starting location, the users will be given a route map and directions directly to the show house.

Property Finance

Based on the listing price, and other financial assumptions, the financial calculators will automatically calculate the monthly bond repayment, transfer and bond costs, and enable the users to adjust values and analyze different financial scenarios.

Property Email Alerts

Buyers and / or tenants are encouraged to sign-up for the Property Email Alerts facility and register their property requirements. All registration data is emailed to the selected branch and logged in the back-end Property Alerts Management System. The system will then send the users an email notification every time a new property, matching their property requirements, is listed on the website.

Financial Calculators

To help users calculate the cost of financing a property, the website includes a Bond Affordability, Bond & Transfer Cost and Bond Repayment Calculator. A real-time currency converter is provided for international buyers and tenants.

List Your Property

The List Your Property section of the website is designed to promote your services to sellers and / or landlords and encourage them to complete an online registration form and list their property with your company. All electronic enquiries are logged in the back-end Enquiry Management System and sent to the selected branch via email.

News & Advice

All news and advice articles captured into the back-end
News Management System will appear on the website in
real time. The users will be able to search for articles
by category or keyword, print, email, download, bookmark
and share articles. Users will also be able to view comments
made by other users and even post their own comment on a
particular article. An RSS feed will enable users to
subscribe to the news and advice section.

Email Newsletter

The Email Newsletter section of the website enables users to subscribe to the
company's monthly email newsletter and view an archive of past newsletters.

Company Profile

The Company Profile section provides the users with your company background, vision and mission statements, overview of services and company photo gallery.

Agent Search

Users are presented with the name, photograph, contact details, and a brief resume of every agent in your company. Users can search the agent directory by name or branch and view all properties listed by a particular agent.

03 Website Hosting

Your website will be hosted on one of Prop Data's state-of-the-art Unix web servers in the USA that boast a 99.9% uptime, daily data backups, regular security audits and software upgrades. All Prop Data servers are housed in a secure, environmentally controlled data centre with UPS and generator power back-up facilities.

Your website will be allocated 1GB of disk space and unlimited bandwidth to meet all your website data needs.

04 Website Statistics

A website is the most accountable and measurable advertising medium available today. Where is your website traffic coming from? How often do visitors return to your website? How long do they visit for? How many pages are viewed? What are the most viewed pages? The Office Website Statistics will log, track and analyze all visits to your website and enable you to monitor your website's performance in real time.

05 Domain

A domain name, or website address, is where your clients can find your real estate business online. Prop Data will register or transfer and host a .co.za domain name (EG: www.yourcompanyname.co.za) on your behalf and point it to your website on our web server. To ensure the domain always remains in your possession, Prop Data will take care of all annual renewal payments on your behalf.

06 Email

A domain name can also be used to personalize your email address
(yourname@yourcompanyname.co.za), presenting a more professional
image to your clients. Prop Data will setup and host a domain email box with
up to 100MB storage, virus protection and spam filtering. Prop Data's WebMail
service enables you to access your email account from any computer with an
internet connection, at any time, using a web browser.

07 Email Stationery

Prop Data will provide you with a corporate email stationery template to use in Outlook
or Outlook Express. The email stationery will incorporate a custom-designed header
to reflect your corporate identity and create attention in your client's inbox.
It will also include a link to your website and a personalized sign-off.

08 Email Newsletter

To ensure that you communicate with prospective clients on an ongoing basis, keep your company's brand at the forefront of their minds and drive repeat traffic to your website, the Office Website Package system will automatically send a template email newsletter to all active mailing list subscribers on a monthly basis.
